Examples of some recent cases:

Mesothelioma: Sandra Naylor vs. North Lanarkshire Council

Recently David Short has been acting on behalf Sandra Naylor a former pupil at Caldervale High School, Airdrie.

The report contains photographs identifying asbestos in the building. It is clear that there were extensive amounts of asbestos within the school

David Short, Partner - Daily Record 2013

Sandra sadly died of mesothelioma (an aggressive form of lung cancer) caused by exposure to asbestos.

Sandra contracted mesothelioma while she was at school. Reports obtained via freedom of information from North Lanakshire Council showed extensive amounts of asbestos in the school at the time Sandra was a pupil there.

We believe the local authority at the time were negligent and we are fighting on her behalf to prove this.
